Job Title : Night Supervisor

Rate Of Pay : £7.00 per hour

Role : You will be responsible for the front office reception, managing night arrivals and departures. You will ensure that the highest levels of guest care are achieved. You will maintain the quality of products and services given to internal and external guests. You will ensure that a safe and secure environment is maintained at all times.
Main Duties:
- You will be responsible for the management of night arrivals and departures
- A primary responsibility will be ensuring the security of the apartments and the safety of the guests throughout the night. Company processes and procedures must be strictly adhered to at all times and appropriate documentation must be accurately maintained.
- You will report to the Apartments Manager / Duty Manager as required and provide early warning of potential problems, any breach of security or any other matter which may be detrimental to the company, its staff or residents at the earliest opportunity.
- You will promote the apartments in a professional and responsible manner at all times, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and appearance is maintained both internally and externally.
- You will be responsible for carrying out minor maintenance of the apartments, as defined by the company, in a prompt and efficient manner and with due regard for guests. You will also have responsibility for processing emergency / major maintenance issues, as defined by the company, through the appropriate channels, again, with due regard for all guests.
- You will resolve promptly and efficiently guests queries and complaints.
- You will be responsible for the accurate and timely operation of the property management system with regards to night arrivals / departures, leases and reports.
- You will be responsible for compliance with Health and Safety policies for staff and guests.
- You will be fully conversant with fire procedures, maintaining all necessary paperwork and documentation with regard to any health & safety, fire procedures / issues.
- To deliver consistently high levels of excellence to ensure complete satisfaction of both internal and external guests.
- Carry out all cash-handling procedures in accordance with standards of performance.
- To ensure shift diaries are completed on time for hand-over.
- To ensure banking is completed.
- Carry out back-ups for the system as required
- To maximise room revenue, occupancy and average rate to required standards.
- Deputising for the General Manager. Assume responsibilities for the buildings, its guests and staff. To manage team ensuring that shifts are covered and that all tasks are carried out to the required standard. To oversee new starts induction and all procedures are followed for employment, disciplinary and grievance.
