Job Title : General Manager
Location : Cordia Serviced Apartments, Lisburn Road
Rate Of Pay : £22,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Role : You will be responsible for the management and coordination of all departments. You will plan, develop, implement and evaluate the quality of products and services given to internal and external guests. You will provide direction and leadership to maximize revenue opportunities and achieve a high level of service in compliance with company's standards. You will identify and develop talents within your staff to maintain a highly competent team of diversified colleagues.
Main Duties:
- On a day to basis you will effectively negotiate business by maximising rates and occupancy.
- You will be responsible for administering leases, overall management of arrivals and departures and liaising with the tenants throughout their stay, ensuring the highest levels of guest care are achieved.
- To report to the Business Development Manager as required and provide early warning of potential problems, any breach of security or any other matter which may be detrimental to the company, its staff or residents at the earliest opportunity.
- You will liaise with Sales & Marketing Team as required.
- You will assume responsibility for the buildings, its guests and staff.
- You will manage your team ensuring that shifts are covered and that all tasks are carried out to the required standard.
- You will oversee the induction of new starts and ensure that all procedures are followed for employment, disciplinary and grievances.
- You will promote the apartments in a professional and responsible manner at all times, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and appearance is maintained both internally and externally.
- You will have overall responsibility for the day to day operations, ensuring the smooth running of apartments at all times.
- You will resolve promptly and efficiently guests queries and complaints.
- You will have overall responsibility for the accurate and timely operation of the property management system with regards to reservations, arrivals / departures, availability, leases and reports.
- You will have a proactive role in sales, including external sales calls, show rounds and mailing campaigns.
- You will be responsible for managing the implementation and budget of a yearly sales, marketing and advertising campaign.
- You will have overall responsibility for liaison with the Central Reservations Manager to ensure accurate management of payments made and accounts due.
- You will have overall responsibility for implementation and compliance with Security and Health & Safety policies for staff and guests.
- You will be fully conversant with fire procedures, maintaining all necessary paperwork and documentation with regard to any security, health & safety and fire procedures / issues.
- You will be responsible for providing staff performance appraisals in accordance with company standards.
